Pre-registration

Stella Secondary School is open to all children whose academic performance and abilities qualify them to attend a Gymnasium (academically selective secondary school), regardless of their religion, nationality or socio-economic circumstances.

Requirements for admission are:

Admission requirements: Pupils

Very good final report for Years 3 and 4 of primary school
(no grades should be ‘satisfactory’ or lower; ideally, all grades should be ‘very good’)
Very good knowledge of German
Basic knowledge of English

Admission requirements: Families

We would like the families of the students who join us to be interested in our educational philosophy and to share our values and our educational ambitions for their children.
Parents/carers should be willing to work with us for their child’s benefit. This includes, for example, attending two development meetings per year with the child’s mentor.

Required documents

Original and copies of the following documents must be presented at the time of personal registration at the secretary’s office:

Birth certificate
Baptismal certificate
Registration form
Report card of the 3rd grade and the school report of the 4th grade elementary school
Passport photo
Proof of citizenship
Social security number

For the personal registration, we would ask the child to write a letter of motivation explaining why they would like to join the Stella Community.

If you are interested in a place at our secondary school for your child, please complete the form below and return it to us. We will then make an appointment for you to come and meet us. You and your child will have an interview with us and you will sign a preliminary contract before committing to us.
