An investment in your child’s future

Education with a special emphasis cannot be funded via parental contributions and state education budgets alone. This means that we need donations to fund Stella Secondary School.

Stella International School is a private school founded by a group of committed parents and priding itself on high educational standards and a wide range of additional activities. Your school fees help cover the cost of the first-class education your child receives at Stella.

Stella International School scholarship scheme: information for applicants

We have established a scholarship fund for families in difficult financial circumstances. We are aware that not all families find it easy to afford tuition fees all the time

Each year, in order to enable parents who cannot easily afford our fees to send their children to our secondary school, we award scholarships on the basis of socio-economic or financial criteria and the child’s academic performance.

Scholarships cover tuition fees only and run for a duration of one year, after which the recipient family has to reapply. Our scholarship fund relies on donations and is limited. For this reason, we would ask you to let us know immediately if your circumstances change such that you no longer need the scholarship – so that our fund can help where it is needed most.

Scholarships are awarded in the amount of the annual tuition fee. They do not cover registration fees, lunches, afternoon care or school uniform. We generally require recipient families to contribute 75 euros per month (12 x/year) to tuition fees.

We award scholarships on the basis of two criteria: parental income (both parents) and the child’s academic performance. Along with your completed application form, please send us a letter of motivation telling us why you would like your child to become part of the Stella community. Scholarships are awarded at our discretion and there is no legal right to their award or to the receipt of a specific amount.

Please apply by submitting the following documents:

  • Fully completed scholarship application form sent to info@stella-dc.at
  • Written evidence of the family’s special interest in the educational profile of the school
  • Annual salary statement or income tax statement for the previous calendar year
  • Letter of motivation from the child’s parent(s)/carer(s)/legal guardian(s).
The award is for a period of one year, after which you will need to reapply. We would like to ask you, in the spirit of our community, to please relinquish the scholarship should your circumstances improve before the scholarship expires. This will enable us to support other families in difficult financial situations.
