Our day-to-day life together

Life at the Stella Kindergarten

Life at Stella Kindergarten is colourful and joyful. At the same time, the children have a number of routines to guide them through the day, week and year. These routines, alongside small rituals, create a feeling of safety and security. Rules that we agree upon with the children help everyone to get along smoothly, and our practice of our faith reinforces our sense of being a living community.

On a typical Stella day, in addition to snack and lunch, we have circle time in the morning, activities in small groups, and a chance for the children to take exercise. Free play and quiet time after lunch are two crucial components of the day. The two- to four-year-olds have a more flexible daily schedule, adapted to the needs of these younger children; the morning free play period is a little longer and circle time a little shorter in line with the children’s age.

Stella International School came into being on the initiative of a group of committed parents. We seek to provide a cosmopolitan education centred on values that will enable young people to forge the society of tomorrow. Public funds cannot cover the crucial extra support, inspiration, resources and activities a Stella education gives.

For this reason, we ask you to please support us with your donation!
