The day-to-day work of Stella Kindergarten implements a holistic, innovative educational philosophy on the basis of Christian, specifically Catholic, values. After-school educator

Job description

You will be responsible for educational and organisational work within our after-school care setting, taking into account the curriculum and educational schemes in progress.

The role

Planning and implementing educational and childcare activities

  • Homework supervision
  • Creative activities (play, crafts, making music, etc.)
  • Leading/supervising physical activities (play, gymnastics, games etc.)
  • Leading/supervising visits to exhibitions and theatre performances
  • Co-creating the educational work in the setting
  • Implementing our educational standards
  • Co-organising extracurricular activities
  • Creating a favourable learning environment
  • – Individual support for each child as a whole person, in accordance with their strengths

Working in a team:

  • Coordinating educational work within the setting
  • Attending staff meetings
  • Supervising interns/placement students
  • Continuing professional development:
  • Completing 16 hours of CPD per year
  • Giving feedback to headteacher on desired and completed CPD and training
  • Keeping up to date with current professional literature, journals, etc.

Job description

Providing collaborative support to educators/group leaders. Childcare/light cleaning/tidying duties.

 

The role

Video editor/social media specialist

Job description

The work of Stella International School (primary school) implements a holistic, innovative educational philosophy on the basis of Christian, specifically Catholic, values.

We currently wish to raise the school’s profile on the internet and on social media. The key objective of this role is to present impressions from day-to-day life and educational work at the school in the appropriate media.

 

The role

  • Creating and editing brief and longer videos, showing school activities in various indoor and outdoor settings, for our website, newsletter and social media platforms
  • Developing and publishing digital content with relevance and appeal to its target group
  • Optimising and maintaining our website and social media channels
  • Creating and sending out newsletters incl. evaluations
  • Creating content for printed publications to complement our digital communications
  • Working closely with the Board of Directors and school management
  • Dynamic task design and flexible working hours in a location with good public transport connections (U1 Praterstern/Vorgartenstraße) and/or from home

Person specification

Relevant professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in an agency environment

 

  • Completed qualifications in the fields of marketing, communications or media are an advantage
