Dear Friends of Stella International School!
A few days ago, when this Newsletter was supposed to go out as planned, the intended content looked a little different. Since the middle of last week, events have overturned and, as for everyone, life in school has suddenly changed.
Today I would like to thank all of you who have prepared without hesitation to implement the general information from the public sector and the specific instructions from the departments responsible for the schools. Teachers, educators, administrative staff and parents immediately adjusted to the new situation and work closely together with all the necessary mindfulness and flexibility. The children have been provided with the necessary exercise material for the next few weeks, the parents have received the relevant instructions in short videos and in other ways. Everyone brings what he can.
We hope that with joint effort and close cohesion, we will soon be able to overcome the peak of the crisis and return to normal everyday life – in families, at work and at school. Even though like everywhere, all our school events have been canceled until further notice, we will find ways to keep in touch with you in the coming weeks. The first opportunity to do so is the Stella Parents Talk next Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 7pm: We will offer the module on “Teamwork and creative cooperation” via an online conference. It works like this:
- You will receive a link by email. You only need to click on this link at 7pm and you can automatically join our virtual lecture room. We see each other and can talk to each other. You don’t need to install anything beforehand.
- You need a laptop (with a built-in webcam and microphone as standard) or a stand PC that is also equipped.
- If you are interested, please contact us by 18.3. at 6pm here:
