🚩 Stella Newsletter: February 2020

Dear friends of Stella International School,

During the last days before the end of the semester, which brought very pleasant results for everyone, many exciting events took place in school.

For example, one father of our children who is a doctor, organized a first-aid class for all children and gave them important recommendations on how to act in case somebody needs help.

During the workshop “cartoon studio” in the children museum ZOOM, the children had a lot of fun producing their own short cartoons… The class 1A ended the first semester with a trip to the zoo and a game day after receiving their school reports.

The good habit of the month is courage, and our guiding principle is: “I am brave and do not complain”. As a lot of children and adults in school are still ill, this principle is especially important during these weeks, and we all need patience to catch up on the missed classes, explain the subjects again and show consideration for the others. Also, we go outside a lot, even though the weather is still freezing

For all mothers – the ones of our school and kindergarten children, but also for extern ones – we will offer Pilates classes in the summer semester in the exercise room of the school. The course has 10 units which are offered at a special price for Stella, and is guided by Elisabeth Pulker, an experienced Pilates-trainer and physiotherapist (www.elisabethpulker.com). Please find more information on our website. You can also sign up for the course directly via the website

Please note that there was a change of date: The next Stella Parent’s Talk “How teamwork can be successful – creating creative cooperation” will take place on Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 at 7pm (the talk in February was cancelled but will be made up for on April 15th). The updated information can be found on our website.

We wish you a good start into the next semester!
